The latest ANPR technology means that all cars that enter the car park are photographed. The registered keeper of the vehicle is sent a parking charge notice (PCN) through the post if they are in breach of the parking rules. There is no legal requirement for physical parking tickets. This means that private car park enforcement can be carried out entirely remotely without the need for the employment of enforcement staff.
