UK Car Park Management company Creative Car Park launches “Auto-Pay Parking”

UK Car Park Mangement company Creative Car Park has announced the launch of its latest development in simple parking payment technology, “Auto-Pay Parking”. This latest innovation allows drivers to enter and exit a car park and be charged accordingly, without having to do a thing.

“AutoPay” is an automated payment system. In car parks where an ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition Cameras) Car Park Management System is used, Creative Car Park can now offer a totally customer focused experience. In practice, this means that the motorist has zero interaction with any payment machines, or method, in a similar manner to drivers entering London’s congestion charge zone, making this the most user-friendly parking-payment system available to date.

Upon entering a car park, pre-registered “auto-pay” motorists will be sent an SMS confirming their entry. Once the motorists has left the car park, they receive an SMS confirming their exit, how much time they spent at the car park and the amount paid (which is automatically debited from their payment card). All details are available online for the motorist to verify and use as they require (for VAT purposes etc).

For motorists who have actively authorised their inclusion, the system will automatically record the amount of parking for each registered vehicle and bill their debit or credit card each month. Motorists will be able to register as many vehicles as they want for “Auto Pay” and have them included on a single account.

Alun Marks of Creative Car Park comments “The most attractive and convenient form of parking is the one where the driver doesn’t need to do anything. We are constantly revolutionising parking-payment systems to make them as user friendly as possible, and having seen the success of the Auto-Pay Congestion Charge, we believe this is the future of parking.”

The new system will be welcome news to residents, businesses and commuters who use a particular car park on a regular basis, as they will never have to remember to pay for parking again and will be protected from receiving a Parking Charge Notice.

The system has already been trialled with great success in Bedfordshire, and now Creative Car Park hopes to roll this service out amongst their Local Authority partners and private car parks nationwide.
