Creative appoints Gareth Davies to strengthen local government offering

Creative Car Park, the outsourced car park management specialists, today announces the appointment of Gareth Davies as its Director for Business Development to strengthen its offering to local government.

Davies was previously the Assistant Director of Transportation Planning at the London Borough of Bromley (2001-2009) where his role included regeneration and development, transport policy and the management and operation of parking services. Davies has over thirty years experience in transportation planning in both the private and public sectors.

He previously worked for Luton Borough Council until 2001 where he was Strategic and Client Services Manager. Davies is a Chartered Civil Engineer and has a Diploma in Management Studies from the Oxford Brookes Business School. He is a former Council Member of the British Parking Association and was Chairman of the London Technical Advisory Group for four year until 2008. Davies is a regular speaker at transportation conferences and has published a number of articles on transportation and parking management.

Gary Wayne, Chief Executive at Creative Car Park, said: “Operating across all industry sectors including retail, property development, local authority and transportation, means we require first class talent. Gareth really understands car park management from a local government perspective. He will manage several of our existing local authority contracts and generate new business from other statutory authorities. We are delighted that he has chosen to join the Creative team. This is a testament to the strength of our offering.”
